What We Believe

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
      Creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
      who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
      and born of the Virgin Mary.
      He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died, and was buried;
      He descended to the dead.
      The third day, he rose again.
      He ascended to heaven
      and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
      From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting. Amen.

Hebrews 1:11 In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He also made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
