5-Day Devotional: A Parade of Miracles

Day 1: A Walking Testimony
Read: Luke 19:37-40
Reflect: The Triumphal Entry was more than just a spontaneous celebration; it was a parade of miracles. Walking alongside Jesus into Jerusalem were people like Bartimaeus (whose blind eyes were opened) and Lazarus (who was raised from the dead). They were living proof that Jesus was the Messiah. Your life is also meant to be a testimony. When people look at your life, what miracles and transformations do they see that point them to the King?
Pray: King Jesus, thank You for the miracles You’ve worked in my life. Let my daily walk be a living testimony of Your grace, pointing others directly to Your saving power.

Day 2: Context is King
Read: Matthew 20:29-34
Reflect: If we only look at Jesus riding on the donkey, we miss what happened on the road leading up to that moment. Jesus intentionally met people on the way—healing the blind and seeking out the lost like Zacchaeus. Often, we focus so much on the destination that we forget God is actively working in the messy journey. Are you paying attention to the context of what God is building in your season right now?
Pray: Lord, open my eyes to see the full scope of what You are doing. Help me not to rush past the moments where You are quietly transforming lives around me.

Day 3: Walk While You Have the Light
Read: John 12:35-36
Reflect: Amid the shouts of "Hosanna," Jesus knew that the time was short. He urged the people to walk in the light while they still had it. God’s grace is eternal, but our circumstances, our responsiveness, and the cultural moments around us change rapidly. There are seasons when it is easy to hear His voice and seasons when the noise of the world grows loud. Don't waste the light you have right now.
Pray:Father, keep me awake and sensitive to Your timing. Give me the urgency to respond to Your promptings today, rather than putting them off for tomorrow.

Day 4: Do Not Harden Your Heart
Read: Hebrews 4:7
Reflect: God’s invitation to forgive and restore never changes, but our ability to hear Him can be diminished if we continually ignore Him. The tragic reality of Palm Sunday is that many in Jerusalem witnessed the miracles but still hardened their hearts, missing their hour of visitation. Is there an area in your life where you have been delaying obedience or resisting His voice? Let today be the day of surrender.
Pray: Holy Spirit, soften my heart. Remove any stubbornness or fear that keeps me from fully trusting You. When I hear Your voice today, give me the courage to say yes.

Day 5: An Anchor in the Turmoil
Read: Psalm 118:24-26
Reflect: It is easy to look at the turmoil in our world—wars, shifting economies, and uncertainties—and feel fear. The enemy loves to use chaos to trick us into hardening our hearts or doubting God's goodness. But as Jesus demonstrated by heading purposefully toward Jerusalem, God is never caught off guard. Whatever happens in the world around us, our call remains simple: keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, call on His name, and be ready.
Pray: Jesus, You are my anchor. I choose to place my trust entirely in You, no matter what headlines or uncertainties tomorrow brings. Prepare my heart for Your return.
