Grow or Die

Jan 4, 2026    Pastor Josh

This message delivers a startling yet hope-filled prophetic word for the new year: grow or die. Drawing from Jesus' parable of the fig tree in Luke 13:6-9, we're confronted with both a warning and a blessing. The warning is clear—stagnation leads to irrelevance and spiritual death. If we continue moving as we've been moving, choosing comfort over growth, fear over faith, and self-preservation over kingdom investment, we will fade into obscurity. But here's the beautiful truth: God doesn't want that for us. Like the gardener who pleads for one more year to dig around the roots and fertilize the tree, Jesus is loosening the soil around our lives and pouring in resources to make growth easier than ever before. We're entering a season of extraordinary grace where God will provide opportunities, open doors, and supply what we need to bear fruit. The question isn't whether God is moving—He is. The question is whether we'll respond with repentance, turning our faces fully toward Him and saying yes to the growth He's inviting us into. This isn't about exhausting ourselves; it's about stepping into the yoke with Jesus and partnering with Him in ways we never have before. The fruit He's looking for is the fruit of repentance—rethinking everything and realigning our lives with His voice and His way.
