The Power of Praying Together

Jan 11, 2026    Pastor Josh Hawkins

This message centers on a powerful prophetic word for the season ahead: grow or die. Drawing from Jesus' parable of the unfruitful fig tree, we're reminded that God is giving us the best possible circumstances to bear fruit—loosening our roots and providing spiritual fertilizer. This isn't a threat but an invitation to seize the opportunity before us. The church is entering a strategic season focused first on prayer in January, then discovering our spiritual gifts and mission in February, preparing for harvest in March, and culminating with an Easter outreach in April. We're also being called to host a prophetic summit where intercessors from the region will gather to hear God's voice for our area. The core message from Deuteronomy 30 challenges us to choose blessing over cursing, life over death. We have the power to choose, and that choice manifests in how we speak, encourage one another, and position our hearts toward God. This is a season of intentionality—where prayer becomes our foundation, community becomes our strength, and obedience to God's voice becomes our pathway to fruitfulness. The question isn't whether God will provide what we need to grow; it's whether we'll respond to His provision with faith and action.
